Rev. Rex Wilburn
Rex is a 56-year-old native of Moscow, Tennessee. His parents were a farmer and a factory worker and United Methodists at Early Grove United Methodist Church in Lamar, Mississippi in Marshall County. He graduated from Rossville Academy, University of Memphis with a BBA in Agri-marketing with a minory in accounting and Memphis Theological Seminary graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Divinity. He has worked on a farm, in home construction, as a store clerk for Jr. Food Mart, as a factory worker, in a machine shop during his high school and college days. After college he worked 8 years and two months as a Communicable Disease Coordinator for the West Tennessee Dept. of Health specializing in sexually transmitted diseases (including being the person who informed West Tennessee patients of their positive HIV tests) and was also a certified x-ray technician for the West Tennessee Tuberculosis Clinic and the West Tenessee Cares Clinic for treating those with HIV infection. Rex left the health department after two years of being bi-vocational while pastoring the Ashland Charge in order to enter seminary.
Rex is married to the former Pamela (Pam) Gail Hobson celebrating 33 years last week on June 22nd. Rex and Pam have two children, Robin, who is 28 and Matthew, 25.
Hobbies include golfing, fishing, crosswords and Sudoku.
Rex is currently serving the Methodist Connection as Conference Statistician for the Mississippi Annual Conference and has been serving as the chair of the Superintendency Committee, member of the Trustees, and district statistician all in the Tupelo District.
Rex has served as football videographer and voice of the Bruce Trojans football and baseball teams and more recently at Houston High school as videographer for Topper football and as the voice of the Topper baseball for five seasons.
Mrs. Pat Davis Jones
Ms. Pat Jones is also a Delta Graduate with Masters Degrees in Music and School Administration. She and her husband of forty-five years, Larry, have two sons – Ty and Cory, two amazing daughter-in-laws – Melanie and Marty, and a beautiful granddaughter – Hannah – who is the light of her world. Pat joined MUMC in 1972 and is actively involved in several ministries including: choir, accompanying organ and piano, Sunday School, Emmaus, Bible study, Youth, VBS, and “too many committees to count.”

Mrs. Samantha Sivils
Samantha lives in Bude with her husband, Tommy, their four children, Dacey, Jaden, Isaac, and Connor, and an array of Golden Retrievers and cats. Samantha has a passion for serving Christ and for serving people. She and her family volunteer their time visiting area schools, hospitals, and nursing homes upon request with their certified therapy dogs. Samantha is a hobbyist photographer and blogger.
